Join the Institute of Group Analysis IGA), the UK leading training organisation for group analysis - a powerful psycho therapeutic approach pioneered by S.H Foulkes.


Our courses are designed to help you develop your skills in facilitating groups and making creative use of group processes.


At our Open Afternoon, you will:

  • Hear about our Qualifying Pathway – the Diploma course which like the Foundation course is a standalone course but also Year 1 of the Qualifying course. The Qualifying Course a further three years which leads to UKCP registration. 

  • Opportunity to speak to current students and course convenors about the structure of the courses.


Who should attend?

  • Mental health professionals: psychologists, psychotherapists, psychiatrists, counsellors, and therapists.

  • Organisational professionals: educators, team leaders, and managers.

  • Anyone interested in group dynamics and personal development through the medium of the group.


Outline of the Afternoon:

12:30pm: Welcome

12:35pm: Introduction to IGA Trainings

1:00pm: Breakout groups for small group discussion focused on the different courses

1:30pm: Larger discussion Q/A

2:00pm: Finish
