This one year course, follows on from the Foundation Course and leads towards the status of Groupwork Practitioner and Associate Membership of the Institute of Group Analysis (IGA).  The course runs from October to July each year, 13 Fridays + 2 Saturdays.

The course takes place over 15 days, every three weeks, starting and ending with a Friday/Saturday block, with 11 Fridays spaced between.  The National Learning Weekend at the end of April is in addition to this.

Course Dates:  

Initial weekend: 5th – 6th October.

Fridays: 26th October, 16th November, 7th December, 4th January, 1st & 22nd February, 15th March, 5th April, 3rd & 24 May, 14th June.  Plus an additional National Learning Experience weekend at the end of April for all IGA Diploma students, 27th - 29th April 2019.

Concluding weekend: 5th - 6th July 2019.

The course runs from 9:45am - 5:00pm

Venue:  St Bede’s Centre, York YO24 1AQ (close to York railway station)

Fees:  £3,130 p.a. (self-funding, payable in 9 instalments)
           £3,500 p.a. (organisational rate – 25% discount on second place, for two students)

Fees include a £250 non-refundable application fee, then 9 monthly instalments of £320. 

Therapy groups in a 'block format' are available on the Saturday following the course days, for an additional fee.
