Psychotherapy Referral Service

IGA therapists provide a range of clinical services including group and individual therapy, couple therapy, family therapy, supervision and work with organisations. Referrals can be made to IGA practitioners throughout the UK.

  • Initially we can offer you an informal telephone discussion to explore any questions that you may have.
  • We can then put you in touch with an IGA therapist who will see you for an initial consultation. The fee for this session will be agreed between you and the therapist concerned.
We welcome self-referrals as well as enquiries and referrals from General Practitioners and other members of the helping professions.

All members of the Institute of Group Analysis (IGA) have undergone a  professional training in psychotherapy, recognised by the United Kingdom Council for Psychotherapy (UKCP), which maintains standards for the profession in the UK. All members of the IGA subscribe to Codes of Ethics and Professional Conduct

The IGA has a positive commitment to equality and diversity.

“A good group […] develops, creates and cherishes, that precious product, the human individual.” S.H. Foulkes
