Accreditation Panel Chair
Applications are invited from experienced full members of the IGA, familiar with the qualifying training in the UK and abroad, to fulfil this role. This is interesting, important work that only arises from time to time.
The main duty of the accreditation panel chair is to convene, when called upon, a small panel to interview candidates who have completed a group analytic training elsewhere and who, being resident in the UK, wish to become members of the IGA UK. After the interview, the panel chair provides a report outlining any additional theory/supervised practice to be undertaken in order for the applicant to be eligible for membership and the panel reviews the matter when such additional requirements have been completed and the chair provides a final report.
The need for a panel arises, on average, once every 2-3 years and there are currently two cases pending. The role is a voluntary one, but travel expenses can be reclaimed.
Deadline for applications: Friday 7th February 2020.
