The premier training institute for Group Analysis in the UK, the IGA is dedicated to providing high quality training in the field of group psychotherapy. Established in 1971, the IGA is now a national charity with strong international links with Group Analytic Institutes across the globe and has been a leading force in developing Group Analytic training and institutes in other countries.
We are currently looking to recruit an experienced professional to lead a small team tasked with the Operational Management and Membership of the IGA including responsibility for Events, Training Operations, Human Resources and Information Systems. You will also ensure efficient administration of the office and provide company secretary support to our Executive Director and Board, including attendance at Board Meetings.
This is a challenging and wide-ranging role, combining responsibility for line management, training and, developing staff, with the provision of a comprehensive central administration and membership service. This will involve organising, managing and reviewing external services and suppliers as well as managing all related contracts. Your remit will also include developing and implementing a workshop programme, managing our events programme and contributing to a range of marketing materials and activities.
With significant experience gained in a similar role within the Third Sector, you are an exceptional communicator with proven organisational skills and the confidence and maturity to deal with a wide range of stakeholders, colleagues and staff. Able to lead by example, you take a proactive approach towards everything you do, cope well with pressure and enjoy the challenge of multi-tasking and organising people, systems and events.
