Sheila Ernst, who died in February 2015, was a leading group analyst, a feminist and a psychotherapist. Sheila was an inspiring and committed teacher, whose influence was felt widely for several decades, at the Women’s Therapy Centre, at the Department of Psychosocial Studies at Birkbeck, and at the Institute of Group Analysis. She co-edited Living with the Sphinx: Papers from the Women’s Therapy Centre (1987), and co-authored ‘An Introduction to Groupwork’ (1999).

Angela Eden is an Organisation Consultant working with individuals, groups and organisations. Her experience and commitment to group work started in 1970 and continues in her work within the frameworks embodied in group analysis , group relations, and systems psycho-dynamics. She was a member of GASI and the Royal Free charity trust,and is now an active member of ISPSO, The Gordon Lawrence Foundation for Social Dreaming and a practicing artist .
Speaker: Sue Einhorn
Sue Einhorn is a therapist and IGA Training Group analyst. She supervised groups at Freedom from Torture (FfT) and was the Convenor for the IGA/OGRA training in Group Analysis in St. Petersburg. Since 2011 she has supervised experienced Group Analysts in Norway and been elected to the Management Committee of GASi where she is Chair of the Scientific Programmes Committee. She also teaches in Leeds, lectures abroad and participates as an interviewer for Connecting Conversation.
