2015 at the Institute:
The IGA runs a wide range of workshops throughout the year aimed at all levels, with a variety of topics for both members and public. Below are links to our most recent events and workshops:

Mindfulness at Work
This one day workshop guided participants through individual and group mindfulness practice, not only teaching the foundations of Mindfulness practice but also incorporating the way in which Mindfulness can be incorporated into the workplace. With further discussion of the system of role, goal and context in our workplace, we can then understand the triggers we experience which can 'knock us out of role', and then practice Mindfulness in order to return.

Creating a healthier NHS
The IGA has been a part of a series of listening events by the Founders Network, in which NHS staff were able to come and talk openly about the challenges of the working environment. These events look at not only what is missing in the NHS but are actively seeking to find solutions and empower staff to create change. Please visit the Founders Network for further information.
The IGA is a national organisation and therefore runs courses across the nation. If you see an interesting workshop or course but cannot make the date or the location you can express your interest informally in the event coming to a place nearer to you or it being repeated on another date. We will always do our best to set up workshops to meet demand.
You can also let us know about new workshops, courses or training scheduling that you are interested in so that we can consider these for our next training programme season.
To express your interest or to make suggestions contact the Operations Manager, Lykke Leszczynski, on firstname.lastname@example.org
or on 020 7431 2693.
We look forward to hearing from you.
