We are looking for a conscientious and motivated Administration Assistant to help with the general running of the day to day operations of a busy training and membership organisation to ensure the ensure the efficient running of IGA training courses and support and attend weekend workshops normally held on a Saturday.
The candidate must have strong Microsoft Office skills and be an excellent communicator with a great telephone manner and high level of spoken and written English. We also need someone who can assist with financial administration so strong attention to detail is important, as is the ability to work both as part of a team and independently. Good common sense and a logical mind is a must.
This is a full time position with normal working hours 9.30-5.30 Monday to Friday except Thursday which will require working until 7.30pm. Saturday working will also be required most weeks and a day off in lieu will be given.

The salary for this post is £16,016 per annum. Normal leave entitlement is 20 annual leave plus bank holidays and Christmas office closure. This will rise to 25 days after 5 years’ service. The IGA does not pay overtime but operates a time off in lieu policy.
